Kelsie Miller (Potomac, Md./Winston Churchill) wrapped up her first trip to the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships Saturday morning (Mar. 23) with competition in the 100 freestyle.
Miller swam a solid race in the morning preliminaries of the 100 freestyle. She won her heat with a personal-best time of 51.77, knocking off nearly four seconds from her seed time of 55.73. Her impressive swim landed her 33rd overall in the 60-swimmer field. Miller missed breaking the school record of 51.65 set by
Brie McDowell '09 in 2009 by 12-hundredths of a second.
In addition to her 33rd-place finish today, she collected a 21st-place finish in the 100 butterfly on Thursday (Mar. 21).
