RALEIGH, N.C. – Sophomore Kelsie Miller (Potomac, Md./Churchill) picked up four wins in leading St. Mary's College of Maryland women's swimming to a non-conference victory Saturday afternoon (Jan. 25). St. Mary's College (10-6) posted a 180-68 road win over William Peace University (6-3).
 
The foursome of sophomore Emerson Young (Bel Air, Md./Harford Technical), junior captain Venus Kai Judge (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard), Miller, and first-year Addison Willey (Lexington Park, Md./Great Mills) came in first in the 200-medley relay in 1:53.57.
 
Miller then went on to touch the wall first in the 200-butterfly in 2:10.74, the 100-freestyle in a season-best 52.68, and the 200-individual medley in 2:11.52. Young collected wins in the 100-backstroke in 1:02.56 and the 50-freestyle in 24.63 while taking second in the 100-freestyle in 54.37.
 
First-year Ella Malzahn (Durham, N.C./Jordan) took first in the 200-breaststroke with a season-best 2:44.65 while coming in first in the 100-butterfly in 1:05.73. Malzahn also finished second in the 100-breaststroke in 1:16.05.
 
Judge claimed top honors in the 500-freestyle in 5:44.73 while placing second in the 200-butterfly in 2:31.81. First-year Lauren Goulet (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) led the Seahawks in the 1000-freestyle with a winning time of 12:03.26 and then went third in the 500-freestyle in 5:57.78.
 
Sophomore Kaitlyn Soldon (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) won the 200-backstroke in 2:26.95 while adding a second-place finish in the 100-backstroke in 1:07.23.
 
Willey tallied a Seahawk-best second-place finish in the 200-freestyle in 2:02.54 while going second in the 50-freestyle in 25.55.
 
First-year Mandy Cartwright (Waldorf, Md./Thomas Stone) posted a pair of lifetime-bests in the 500-freestyle (5:48.28) and the 200-freestyle (2:06.36), placing second and third, respectively.
