BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's cross country team returned to action Friday afternoon (Oct. 3) following a two-week break. St. Mary's College competed at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University, completing the Green 6K course.
Only three St. Mary's College harriers crossed the finish line, so the Seahawks did not calculate into the team standing as five finishers are needed to count as a complete team.
Clarion University won the team trophy, notching 133 points as Clarion had three runners finishing in the Top 25.
Fran Peterson of Saint Michael's College captured the individual title as Peterson completed the course in 22:12.5.
