HADDONFIELD, N.J. – Junior
Kelsie Miller (Rockville, Md./Churchill) picked up the Atlantic East Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week award as announced by the league office Monday afternoon (Nov. 10). Miller is earning the honor for the eighth time in her career.
St. Mary's College of Maryland women's swimming notched a 135-120 non-conference triumph over Elizabethtown College (Nov. 8) as Miller collected three individual victories.
Miller started by winning the 200-butterfly in 2:17.54 before leading a sweep of the 100-freestyle as she touched the wall first in 56.35. She then led a sweep of the 100-butterfly, taking top honors in 1:00.07. Miller also anchored the third-place 400-freestyle relay (4:20.51).
St. Mary's College (5-2) will return to action this Friday, Nov. 14, when the Seahawks travel to Fredericksburg, Va., to face University of Mary Washington (2-1-1) in non-conference action at 5 pm.
