ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – St. Mary's College of Maryland women's swimming clocked a conference and championship meet record in the 200-medley relay as the 2025 Atlantic East Conference Swimming Championships began Thursday night (Feb. 13). The champions for both the 200-medley and 800-freestyle relays were decided tonight.

Winning both relays, St. Mary's College holds an early lead in the six-team standings with 80 points, a 12-point lead over Marymount (Va.) University, the two-time defending champion. Rounding out the top-six are Immaculata University (62), Cedar Crest College (58), Gallaudet University (54), and Marywood University (32). The Seahawks won back-to-back Atlantic East crowns in 2021 and 2022.

The foursome of sophomore Emerson Young (Bel Air, Md./Harford Technical), junior captain Venus Kai Judge (Gaithersburg, Md./Quince Orchard), sophomore Kelsie Miller (Potomac, Md./Churchill) and first-year Addison Willey (Lexington Park, Md./Great Mills) put together a record-setting performance in the 200-medley relay, posting a 1:49.12 to best Marymount's group by 2.28 second.

The Seahawks' dominance continued in the 800-freestyle relay, winning by a 10.71-second margin behind the efforts of Judge, first-years Mandy Cartwright (Waldorf, Md./Thomas Stone) and Lauren Goulet (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis), and Willey.
