ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – Senior captain
Luke Schwenk (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) and first-year
Harrison Greenwald (Reisterstown, Md.) both notched conference championship meet and conference records on the second day of the 2025 Atlantic East Conference Swimming Championships Friday (Feb. 14). Today's events included the 500-freestyle, the 200-individual medley, the 50-freestyle, and the 200-freestyle relay.
St. Mary's College, which is looking for its first-ever Atlantic East Conference title, remains second in the team standings with 267 points following a pair of first-place finishes in the 500-freestyle and 50-freestyle. Marymount (Va.) University kept the lead within the five-team field with 306 points. Rounding out the Top 5 are Marywood University (127), Immaculata University (107), and Gallaudet University (80).
Greenwald captured the 500-freestyle with a championship meet and conference record time of 4:41.20, knocking off the previous mark set by Marymount's
Nathan Bruley in this morning's preliminaries (4:43.58).
Schwenk finished his career as a four-time Atlantic East Champion in the 50-freestyle as he clocked an NCAA B cut as well as a championship meet, conference, and school record of 19.64, breaking his own mark of 19.83 from March 20, 2024. He tallied three B cuts in the 50-freestyle today as he registered a 19.99 in this morning's preliminaries and once again 19.99 in leading off the 200-freestyle relay.

Qwada Moses (Bowie, Md./DeMatha Catholic), junior captain
William Kendrick (Laurel, Md./DeMatha Catholic), and sophomore
Kyle Smith (Crofton, Md./Crofton) collected a silver medal in the 200-freestyle relay with a 1:24.94.
First-year
Stephen Lepine (Rockville, Md.) and sophomore
Daniel Madigan (Waldorf, Md./North Point) both reached the podium in the 500-freestyle as Lepine came in fifth-place finish (5:02.06) Madigan was sixth (5:04.70). Senior
Sam Meisel (Chevy Chase, Md./Walter Johnson) placed second in the consolation final in 5:31.03 for 10th overall.
Smith and junior
Jair Jackson (Laurel, Md./Chapelgate Christian) were podium finishers in the 200-individual medley as Smith took fifth (2:02.64) and Jackson went seventh (2:08.93). Sophomore
CB Jurado (Odenton, Md./Arundel) won the consolation final of the 200-individual medley in 2:09.47 for ninth overall.
Sophomore
Anthony Davis (Upper Marlboro, Md./Riverdale Baptist), Kendrick, and Moses all joined Schwenk on the podium for the 50-freestyle as Davis placed fourth (21.84), Kendrick finished fifth (22.09), and Moses went seventh (22.25). Sophomore
Luca Fairbank (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney) claimed the top spot in the consolation final of the 50-freestyle, clocking a 23.20 for ninth overall.
