GREENSBORO, N.C. – Senior Luke Schwenk (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) wrapped up his collegiate career with a seventh All-America award at the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming & Diving Championships Saturday (Mar. 22) as Schwenk captured the consolation finals of the 100-yard freestyle.

Schwenk entered the morning preliminaries seeded seventh with an entry time of 43.72. He clocked a 44.07 to place fourth in his heat, missing a spot in the 100-yard freestyle championship finals by 0.07 seconds. The 6-2 captain headed into the night's consolation finals as the top qualifier for the second straight night as Schwenk was the top qualifier in the 100-yard backstroke consolation finals (March 21).

He won the consolation finals in convincing fashion, touching the wall half a second ahead of Denison University's Nickolas Hensel. Schwenk posted a new school and Atlantic East Conference record of 43.65, shaving off 0.07 seconds from his previous mark set at the 2025 Atlantic East Championships (Feb. 16).

By winning the consolation finals, Schwenk finished ninth overall for his seventh overall All-America award and fourth Second Team All-America honor. He placed 18th in the 100-yard freestyle (44.69) last season while coming in 15th in 44.87 at the 2023 NCAA Championships for Second Team All-America honors.
