St. Mary's City, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland outdoor track and field team hosted the 2025 Seahawk Invitational on senior day at the Jamie L. Roberts Stadium. The Seahawks competed against Division II and III teams alongside unattached athletes, setting new '25 DIII records along the way.
 
How It Happened:

• Two Seahawks were in the 100-meter Prelims, both qualifying for the finals. Collin Fitzgerald led the way in 11.17, setting a new '25 DIII #86 record.  Mason Layne finished just behind in 11.76.
• The 100-meter Finals saw Collin Fitzgerald set a new "25 DIII #60 record in a time of 11:08. Mason Layne finished after in a time of 11.76.
• Five Seahawks finished in the 200 meter dash. Collin Fitzgerald earned a '25 DIII #28 time of 22.13 for a 4^th place finish. Mason Layne and Jaedon Aso rounded out the top three Seahawks in 23.45 and 23.89 respectively. Aso and Zane Obi earned personal bests, with Obi finishing in 24.11.
• Three Seahawks competed in the 400m event, led by Zane Obi in a time of 54.31. Aaron Morales and Jaedon Aso earned personal bests in 54.78 and 55.58 respectively.
• Aaron Morales took on the 400m Hurdles, finishing in a time of 1:03.62 for 5^th place.
• The five performers in the 800m run were led by Jake Robey with a 2:06.02 in 3^rd place. finish.  Nate Norris finished in 2:10.62.  Jonathan Howell and RJ Etzler earned personal records in 2:14.18 and 2:15.04 respectively.
• Pierson Hogue led five Seahawks in the 1500-meter run in a time of 4:22.85. Kelly Byrne followed after in 5^th place in 4:33.46. Earning personal bests were Blake Carberry and Owen Swisdak in 4:33.54 and 5:17.15 respectively.
• Five Seahawks raced in the Men's 5k event. Pierson Hogue earned a personal best of 16:46.82 in a 5^th place finish. Just behind was Kelly Byrne in 8^th in 18:20.67. Rounding out the top three was Blake Carberry with a personal best of 18:37.24.
• The 4x100m relay squad of Collin Fitzgerald, Moses McRae, Mason Layne, and Zane Obi set a new '25 DIII #53 at the time of writing with a time of 43.49 and meeting the AARTFC qualifying standard.
• The 4x400 meter relay squad 'A' with Zane Obi, Collin Fitzgerald, Mason Layne, and Jake Robey set a new '25 DIII #83 record with their time of 3:44.25.
• Zack Kralec competed in the Pole Vault setting a personal best, St. Mary's School Record, and new '25 DIII #7 record with a height of 4.80m (15'9"), meeting the AARTFC qualifying standard.
• The Javelin Throw by Zack Kralec set a new '25 DIII #82 record with a throw of 47.64m (156'3").
• Jake Robey competed for the Seahawks at Discus Throw, throwing for a distance of 22.61m
