Baltimore, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's outdoor track and field team travelled to Baltimore, Md. To compete at the Hopkins/Loyola Invite over the span of two days. The Seahawks competed against both Division I, II, and III teams and unattached track clubs.
How It Happened:
- Four Seahawks raced in the 100-meter dash, led by Collin Fitzgerald in a time of 11.10 for a 14th place finish. Jaedon Aso finished after in a time of 11.66 for a personal best. Moses McRae and Nicholas Haylock both set outdoor debuts in a tie, both finishing in a time of 11.76.
- Nicholas Haylock raced in the 110-meter Hurdles tying the personal best in 16.60 and a 14th place finish.
- Four Seahawks raced in the 200-meter dash. Collin Fitzgerald ran in a time of 22.74 for a 12th place finish. Jaedon Aso followed after in a time of 23.98. Earning personal bests were Nicholas Haylock and Luke Schwenk in 24.34 and 25.05 respectively.
- The 400-meter saw three Seahawks compete. Mason Layne finished in a time of 52.17. Henry Wilcox set an outdoor debut in a time of 53.51 for a personal best. Zane Obi rounded out the Seahawks in a finish of 54.97.
- Aaron Morales led the two Seahawks in the 400m Hurdles in a finish of 1:02.58 and 14th place. Markell Blake competed after in a time of 1:11.05.
- Four Seahawks raced in the 800m. Jake Robey led the way in 2:03.56 setting a personal best. Nate Norris followed after with a time of 2:07.63. Rounding out the top three was RJ Etzler with a personal best of 2:09.16.
- Two Seahawks competed in the 1500m, both earning personal bests. Jake Robey led the way in 4:34.03, with Owen Swisdak following after in a time of 5:08.35.
- Four Seahawks competed in the 3000-meter Steeple event. Blake Carberry led the way in 11th with a personal best of 11:13.77. Also earning personal records were Bryce Webster and Jake Robey in 12:10.06 and 12:16.85 respectively.
- Both Seahawks in the men's 5K event earned personal records. Pierson Hogue earned a time of 16:29.79. Kelly Byrne finished with a time of 17:10.34.
- The men's 4x100m relay squad of Collin Fitzgerald, Moses McRae, Mason Layne, and Zane Obi finished in a time of 43.48 for a 3rd place finish, and meeting the qualifying standard for the AARTFC.
- The 4x400m relay squad of Mason Layne, Zane Obi, Aaron Morales, and Jaedon Aso combined for a time of 3:44.98.
- RJ Etzler competed in the High Jump, finishing with a height of 1.50 meters.
- Men's Triple Jump saw another tie of the St. Mary's school record with a jump of 11.52m from Aaron Morales. Jonathan Howell earned an outdoor debut with a jump of 10.54m.
- Zack Kralec competed at the Pole Vault, going a height of 4.40 meters.
- The Javelin Throw by Zack Kralec saw a throw of 44.07m for a 7th place finish on the second throw of 6 attempts. Luke Schwenk threw for a distance of 29.04m.
- Earning an outdoor debut in Shot Put was Luke Schwenk with a throw of 8.18m.

Nicholas Haylock travelled down the road from the Hopkins/Loyola Invite to compete at the Morgan State Legacy Meet hosted by Morgan State for the 400-meter Hurdles.
How It Happened:
- Nicholas Haylock set a St. Mary's school record and personal best in the 400-meter Hurdles in a time of 58.02.
