DURHAM, N.C. – Aiden Doyle '25 (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) and
Joe Szymanski '26 (Easton, Md./Easton) represented the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's lacrosse team on the 2025 Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) Division III All-Region teams announced June 16.
Doyle and Szymanski both earned Honorable Mention IMLCA All-Region 2 honors. This is the first All-Region award for both Doyle and Szymanski. This brings the number of IMLCA All-Region plaudits gained by the St. Mary's College men's lacrosse program to five as
Brandon Dabkowski '24,
Ethan Little '24, and
Joshua Martel '26 all garnered Honorable Mention All-Region honors in 2024.
Doyle notched Honorable Mention United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) May 22 while both Doyle and Szymanski collected First Team All-United East Conference honors May 7. Additionally, Szymanski was voted the 2025 United East Defensive Player of the Year.
Doyle wrapped up his four-year Seahawk career as an Honorable Mention USILA All-American (2025) and a two-time First Team All-United East selection (2022 and 2025). The 2022 United East Rookie of the Year enjoyed his best campaign with team-bests of 56 goals and 77 points, which ranked first and second in the conference, respectively. He also dished out a team third-best 21 assists, good for seventh in the league.
The 6-5 midfielder finished his senior year ranked 37th in Division III with a league-best 3.11 goals per game. Doyle was selected as the United East Offensive Player of the Week (March 17) and earned a spot on the USILA Division III Team of the Week (March 19) as well.
Doyle graduated as the program's all-time goals leader with 155 goals while tallying 233 points, handing out 78 assists, scooping up 76 ground balls, scoring 17 man-up goals, and causing 14 turnovers in 65 games played.
Szymanski made his presence felt in his first season at St. Mary's College. The 6-4 defenseman ranked second in the United East with a team-leading 29 caused turnovers while coming in fifth with a team second-best 80 ground balls. He also added a goal and two assists while being named the United East Defensive Player of the Week (March 10) and making the USILA Division III Team of the Week (March 12).
St. Mary's College (10-8) made its third straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament, advancing to the second round for a third season in a row. The Seahawks also claimed their fourth consecutive United East tournament title and third straight conference regular-season crown.
