LATHAM, N.Y. – Senior Zack Kralec (Monkton, Md./Hereford) of the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's indoor track & field team was selected as the United East Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday morning (Feb. 3). This is Kralec's fifth career indoor field athlete of the week honor.
 
Kralec placed sixth in the pole vault with a height of 4.30m at the George Mason University Patriot Games as the highest finishing Division III athlete in the field.
 
St. Mary's College will be back in action this Friday, Feb. 6, at the Scarlet Knights Open hosted by Rutgers University at The Armory in New York City, N.Y. and Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Frank Colden Invitational hosted by Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa.
