Box Score

Salisbury, Md. - Four different Ospreys scored for No. 20 Richard Stockton College as RSC posted a 4-0 victory over St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer in the opening day of the Elmer Lord Memorial Classic hosted by Salisbury University Saturday afternoon.

Senior midfielder Pat Tolomeo (Ocean City, N.J.) jump-started the Osprey offense early as Tolomeo fired in a direct free kick from just outside the penalty box into the top right corner at 1:40.  Junior midfielder Rafael Duarte (Ocean City, N.J.) made it 2-0 just 10 minutes later as Duarte put the finishing touches on a diagonal pass from freshman defender Chris Hayman (Pittsgrove, N.J.), sending the ball into the lower right.

Richard Stockton took a 3-0 lead into halftime after senior forward Sean McCallum (Vineland, N.J.) redirected a defensive clear back into the net at 27:30.

Senior midfielder Butch Huff (Toms River, N.J.) netted the final Osprey tally at 88:14 as Huff tapped in a loose ball in the box.

Sophomore goalkeeper Lou Herring (Freehold, N.J.) picks up his first shutout of the season as Herring did not need to make a save.

Junior goalkeeper Paul Spranklin (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills) notched five stops in the loss.

St. Mary's will return to action tomorrow as the Seahawks take on Capital University in their second match of the Memorial Classic.  Kickoff is set for 1:00.
