Seahawk Men's Soccer Loses at Catholic

Washington, D.C. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision at The Catholic University of America in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon.

Junior goalkeeper Nate Ramsland (Catonsville, Md./Mount Saint Joseph) was the highlight for the Seahawks (2-4) as Ramsland posted a career-best 10 saves on 24 shots faced.

St. Mary's held Catholic (4-2-1) to a 1-0 halftime advantage, fending off the Cardinals' 10-1 shot advantage and 6-0 margin in corner kicks in the first half.

Catholic finished the contest with a 24-3 advantage in shots as well as a 10-1 margin in corners.

St. Mary's will look to get back in the win column on Saturday, September 21st when the Seahawks welcome Goucher College to Seahawk Stadium for a non-conference game at 4:00 pm.
