St. Mary's City, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team endured their first Capital Athletic Conference loss Saturday afternoon. St. Mary's dropped a tough 1-0 decision to Frostburg State University.

How It Happened

• Senior captain Nick Tait (Silver Spring, Md./Sandy Spring Friends) and sophomore midfielder Juwan Kearson (Baltimore, Md./St. Paul's) paced the Seahawks with four shots each.
• Frostburg State staked an early lead at 25:44 as first-year forward Josh McRobie (Gambrills, Md./Arundel) found the back of the net with his seventh goal of the season.
• Senior goalkeeper Hassan Mostafa (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills) came up with nine saves to keep St. Mary's off the scoreboard.

For the Seahawks (7-2-1, 1-1-0 CAC)

• Scorers: None.
• Goalkeeper: Zack Haussler (1 save, 1 goal allowed, 90:00).
• St. Mary's finished the game with 14 shots (nine on goal) and two corner kicks.

For Frostburg State (6-5-0, 2-0-0 CAC)

• Scorers: McRobie (1 goal).
• Goalkeeper: Mostafa (9 saves, 0 goals allowed, 90:00).
• The Bobcats collected seven shots and two corner kicks.

• St. Mary's entered today's action ranked sixth in the South Atlantic region.
