St. Mary's City, Md. – Senior midfielder Nick Tait (Silver Spring, Md./Sandy Spring Friends) would score the game-winning goal for the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team in the 59th minute, securing the 3-2 non-conference win over Randolph-Macon College. The win extended the Seahawks' unbeaten streak to seven games following a fierce battle against Randolph-Macon College.

How It Happened
- The two sides finished the first half in a 1-1 draw.
- The Yellow Jackets would be first on the board when first-year Anthony Astruc (Glen Allen, Va./Benedictine) scored at 18:00 off an assist from junior defender Jacob McHugh (Aberdeen, Md./West Nottingham Academy).
- Junior captain Sunny Chhatani (Lima, Peru/Indian Creek School [Md.])would find the net at 43:20 for the equalizer after a pass from the right off the foot of junior forward Luke Barber (Washington, D.C./Walt Whitman).
- Soon after in the 48th minute, senior midfielder Kyle Reichard (Crofton, Md./Good Counsel) would score off an assist from Tait, giving St. Mary's its first lead of the game.
- Randolph-Macon would tie up the game at 48:55 as they scored their final goal of the game when first-year forward Andrew Griggs (Galloway, N.J./Absegami) finished off a corner kick.
- Tait would battle around the goal and take a few dribbles before striking the ball into the back of the net for the eventual game-winner at 58:01.
For the Seahawks (6-0-1)
- Scorers: Tait (1 goal, 1 assist); Chhatani (1 goal); Reichard(1 goal); Barber (1 assist).
- Goalkeeper: Patrick Paolini (3 saves, 2 goals allowed, 90:00).
- St. Mary's finished the game with 10 shots and two corner kicks.
For Randolph-Macon (3-1-2)
- Scorers: Astruc (1 goal); Griggs (1 goal); Jacob McHugh (1 assist); Logan McHugh (1 assist).
- Goalkeeper: Brian Breslin (6 saves, 3 goals allowed, 90:00).
- The Yellow Jackets put up 11 shots and five corner kicks.
Notes
- Tait continues to move up in the record book as he is now in sole possession of seventh all-time with 26 career goals. Tait is also seventh all-time with 72 points and six game-winning goals while ranking tied for sixth with 20 career assists.
- St. Mary's improves to 6-2 all-time against Randolph-Macon.
