St. Mary's City, Md. – Junior catcher Matt Bieler (Bowie, Md./Bowie) battled for St. Mary's College of Maryland baseball, tallying three hits, including a triple, and driving in two runs against the Wesley College Wolverines. The Seahawks would fall to Wesley, 8-3, at home on Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- With a three-run rally in the fourth and a two-run rally in the fifth propelling Wesley, the Wolverines would take a 6-0 lead over St. Mary's at the end of five innings.
- The Seahawks would rally in the eighth inning as sophomore shortstop Brandon Snow (Owings, Md./Northern) would single to centerfield, advancing sophomore right fielder Dakota Merritt (Lexington Park, Md./Great Mills) to home plate. Bieler would then bring in a pair of runs with a single to centerfield, scoring Snow and sophomore pinch hitter Bennett Garner (Bowie, Md./Bowie).
