Frostburg, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland baseball team would be overthrown by Frostburg State University on Monday afternoon in a Capital Athletic Conference doubleheader.

How It Happened
- Senior second baseman Zach Rowe (Davidsonville, Md./Calvert Hall College) would lead the Seahawks with two hits, including a double in the sixth inning. Rowe would go on to score when sophomore Brandon Snow (Owings, Md./Northern) advanced him home with a single to leftfield.
- In the seventh inning, sophomore centerfielder Lucas Kraft (Clarksburg, Md./Clarksburg) would take advantage of reaching on an error and a passed ball for the second run of the game.
- Frostburg would own the game early, going on a four-run rally in the first inning. They would have another four-run scoring rally in the sixth followed by a seventh inning with three runs.
For St. Mary's (8-17, 2-12 CAC)
- Hitting: Rowe (2-for-4, run, double), Snow (1-for-4, RBI)

How It Happened
- The Seahawks and the Bobcats would kick off the game tied 1-1 after the first inning.
- In the second inning, the Seahawks would take a 3-1 lead over Frostburg. St. Mary's would score one run again in the third for a three-run advantage before Frostburg would reply with two runs in the third, closing the gap to 4-3.
- Frostburg would then go on a six-run scoring rally in the fourth inning to take over the lead for good.
- St. Mary's would score its final run in the fifth inning as first-year Jay Hammett (Coltons Point, Md./Chopticon) homered to left field for his second run of the game. Hammett would have a strong showing with two doubles in addition to his home run.
