Salisbury, Md. – Seniors Sunny Chhatani (Lima, Peru/Indian Creek [Md.]) and Luke Barber (Washington, D.C./Walt Whitman) helped the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's soccer team notch their first win of the 2017 campaign, posting a 2-0 victory over Capital University Saturday afternoon at the Elmer Lord Memorial Classic hosted by Salisbury University.

How It Happened
- The first half featured 13 shots and eight corner kicks but neither side got past the defense in the first 45 minutes.
- Chhatani broke the scoreless draw 10 minutes into the second half when his free kick from the left side of the box found the back of the net.
- St. Mary's received an insurance goal with 10 minutes left in the match after Barber headed in first-year defender James Carter's (Clarksville, Md./River Hill) cross from the left baseline.

- The Crusaders picked up nine shots (four on goal) and eight corner kicks, including six in the first half.
