Frostburg, Md. – In their second Capital Athletic Conference match of the season, the St. Mary's College of Maryland women's soccer team battled Frostburg State University to a scoreless tie Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
- Frostburg outshot the Seahawks, 5-0, in the first 45 minutes but only one shot was on frame and was easily turned away by senior captain Sydney Larkin (Salisbury, Md./Parkside).
- In the second half, shots were even at 5-5 and each goalkeeper came up with two stops.
- St. Mary's fired the only shot in the first 10-minute extra frame but it went wide.
- The final 10 minutes saw the Seahawks double up on FSU in shots, 4-2, with Larkin denying one and Emily Faust saving two. A Seahawk header hit the crossbar in the last 11 seconds.
For the Seahawks (2-5-3, 1-0-1 CAC)

- Goalkeeper: Larkin (5 saves, 0 goals allowed, 110:00)
- St. Mary's finished with 10 shots (three on goal) and gained five corner kicks, including three in the second OT period.
For Frostburg State (2-6-2, 1-0-1 CAC)
- Scorers: None
- Goalkeeper: Faust (3 saves, 0 goals allowed, 110:00)
- The Bobcats ended the game with 12 shots (five on goal) and collected four corners.

- St. Mary's is currently riding a three-match unbeaten streak.
- The all-time series now stands at 9-5-4 with the Bobcats holding the advantage.
