St. Mary's City, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's soccer team picked their third consecutive loss Wednesday afternoon. St. Mary's (6-8-0, 1-2-0 CAC) surrendered a first half goal in falling 1-0 to Salisbury University (5-6-1, 2-1-0 CAC) in Capital Athletic Conference action.

How It Happened
- St. Mary's claimed a 7-5 edge in shots while the Sea Gulls boasted a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks with two in each half.
- Madison Hogsten netted the eventual game-winning goal in the 33rd minute after receiving a pass from Lydia Narum. Narum slotted a through pass between two defenders and Hogsten just outstepped a Seahawk defender to win the 50-50 ball and slip it past an outstretched Katie Flores (Towson, Md./Towson) into the lower right corner.
- Hogsten's goal proved to be the difference as each goalkeeper made two saves over the final 45 minutes for a scoreless second half.

For Salisbury
- Scorers: Hogsten (1 goal); Narum (1 assist)
- Goalkeeper: Regan Benton (2 saves, 0 goals allowed, 90:00)

- Salisbury moves to 25-7-3 in the series with its second consecutive win over the Seahawks.
