Salisbury, MD-- The St. Mary's College of Maryland Baseball Team (7-17) matched up with Salisbury University (27-6) for their second midweek non-conference game in a row. The Seahawks fell to the fifth ranked Seagulls, 15-5.

How It Happened

• Salisbury scored the first three runs of the game 

• The Seahawks got on the board in the top of the fourth after an Ian Walters triple sent home Cole Tarleton.

• The Seagulls scored the next seven runs of the game to lead 10-1.

• St. Mary's did most of their damage in the top of the eight where they scored four runs and trimmed the Salisbury lead to just five. Chase O'Dell and Trevor Smith recorded RBI double's while AJ Pyfferoen added an RBI single. The Seahawks also scored a run on a passed ball. 

• Salisbury would go on to score the last five runs of the game and went on to win 15-5.

Inside the Box Score

• Cole Tarleton and Trevor Smith each recorded two hits. 

• Chase O'Dell, Ian Walters, Trevor Smith, and AJ Pyfferoen all notched an RBI. 

• Jack Overton pitched five innings, gave up five earned runs and faced 25 batters. Michael Roeder, Ryder Chalk, and Colin Patterson all made appearances on the bump as well.
