Stevenson (6-9) cut the deficit to 2-1 as the duo of junior Megan Heagy (Bel Air, Md./Fallston) and sophomore Jordan Rupard (North Beach, Md./Southern) picked up an 8-4 triumph over sophomore Alyssa Stine (Columbia, Md./Atholton) and first-year Lauren Rost (Darnestown, Md./Poolesville) at the second doubles flight.

Senior Kathleen Ramsey (Dunkirk, Md./Northern) returned a two-point lead to the Seahawks with her straight set victory of 6-0, 6-0 over Widell at No. 4 singles.

Rost notched the decisive point as she put the Seahawks ahead 5-2 with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Fersch at the fifth singles flight.

St. Mary's sixth point came at No. 6 singles as Bradcovich came up with a 7-5, 6-1 triumph over Heagy before Rupard posted a 5-7, 7-5, 10-2 win over Stine at No. 3 singles, avenging her regular-season three-set loss to Stine.
