Tonight's loss snaps the Seahawks' four-game win streak as well as the team's 16-game home win streak (including CAC and NCAA postseason contests). St. Mary's had not lost a game in the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center Arena since a 61-58 setback to York College of Pennsylvania on February 23, 2012 in the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals.
LaGuerre connected on a career-best five three-pointers en route to a game-high 24 points while senior captain Donn Hill (Aberdeen, Md./Bel Air) also scored in double figures for St. Mary's with 16 points as he drained a career-best two three-pointers. Hill dished a career-high five assists as well.

DeSales outscored St. Mary's, 25-16 from that point on and headed into the locker room with a 36-35 edge at halftime after senior guard Paul Pammer (Laurys Station, Pa./Parkland) finished a jumper with 28 seconds left in the half.
Three players scored in double digits in the first half. LaGuerre led all players with 13 on 5-of-10 shooting while senior guard Kyle Hash (Phillispsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg) and senior guard Cory Schmidt (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) paced the Bulldogs with 12 and 10, respectively. The Seahawks shot 48.1% (13-of-27), including 5-of-14 from downtown, to DeSales' 48.4% (15-of-31).
DeSales (6-2) never lost the lead in the second half, owning a two-digit lead with 11 minutes to go. Pammer's only three-pointer of the game gave the Bulldogs their biggest lead of the game, 62-44 at 6:11 as St. Mary's was held without a field goal for over seven minutes. Hill ended the Seahawks' scoreless drought with a layup 20 seconds later. St. Mary's closed out the game on a 14-7 run for the 80-70 final.
The Bulldogs posted a 34-26 rebounding margin and went 24-of-29 from the free throw line. Sophomore forward Troy Spurrier (Mt. Airy, Md./Glenelg) paced St. Mary's on the glass with a career-best eight rebounds and chipped in six points.
Pammer finished the night with 21 points while Hash contributed 20 and Schmidt came off the bench to notch a dozen.
The Seahawks will look to get back in the win column on Saturday, December 14th when St. Mary's travels to University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The Capital Athletic Conference tilt is scheduled to start at 3:00 pm.
