St. Mary's City, Md. – Senior captain Matt Tarrant (Mount Airy, Md./Urbana) scored four times in leading the St. Mary's College of Maryland men's lacrosse team to their second consecutive victory. The Seahawks posted a 15-7 non-conference win over visiting Oberlin College on Tuesday afternoon.

Tarrant was one of nine Seahawks to find the back of the cage today. Tarrant led all scorers at intermission with three goals while Steele and Perugini each had a pair. Three different players scored for Oberlin while junior attackman Nick Lobley (Port Washington, N.Y./Portledge School) paced the Yeomen with a goal and an assist.

St. Mary's netted the first two goals of the third period before Lobley struck again with 55 seconds left, sending the Seahawks into the final 15 minutes with a 13-4 advantage. Oberlin outscored the hosts, 3-2, in the fourth quarter, including a pair of Lobley.

The Seahawks outshot Oberlin, 53-26, while posting a 44-34 lead in ground balls as Simon picked up four loose balls. The Yeoman edged St. Mary's in face-offs, 14-of-26, as sophomore midfielder Kinori Rosnow (Kirkland, Wash./Overlake), who is ranked third in Division III in face-off win percentage, took all 26 attempts.

Junior Joe Casey (Annapolis, Md./Mount Saint Joseph) tallied nine saves for the Seahawks while junior Miles Brooke (Miami, Fla./Ransom Everglades) and senior Erickson Andrews (Oberlin, Ohio/Oberlin) split time in goal and combined for 16 stops in Oberlin's fourth loss in a row.
