ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland women's tennis team (0-2, 0-0 CAC) dropped their home opener Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 17) against the Bullets of Gettysburg College (1-0, 0-0).

St. Mary's - 3, Gettysburg – 6

Doubles –

• Hallie Hershey and first year Hannah Gorel moved to 2-0 on the year as a doubles team by taking down the Bullets Samantha Boardman and Alex Rieg 8-5. 

• Christine Folivi and Sydney Anderson won a close match over Shaye Barnes and Alexis Rinker 8-6. 

Singles –

• Hershey took the lone singles match point from the Bullets with a 6-1, 6-1 win the third spot.
