Most Memorable Sports Experience at St.Mary’s:

“The first thing that comes to mind is a winagainst Catholic at Somerset in 2000. This would be the only winagainst Catholic that I experienced in my career. (The win is somemorable because Catholic University won the 2001 NCAA DivisionIII national championship.) Everyone had a great game that night. The game was close (within 2-5 points) throughout the game but wewere able to pull away at the end.”

Mentor at St. Mary’s:

“The infamous Wayne Cook(1990 Hall of Fame) is who I considered my mentor while at St.Mary’s. Wayne would always tell me stories of the“old” St. Mary’s when he played and how, if theyhad a three-point line when he played, the scoring record would beuntouchable. Wayne’s professional life was one that Iadmired as he was a business owner as well as a real estateinvestor. I am still in touch with Wayne and was pleased when heaccepted to speak on my behalf at the Hall of Fame induction in2008.”

Thoughts on St. Mary’sCollege:

“St. Mary’s will always be a place that I call home.I have nothing but great memories and have forged so many longlasting relationships that play a major part in my life. If it wasnot for St. Mary’s I would not have played on the team withDerrick Heard, and subsequently I would have not been introduced tomy fiancée. I also attribute a lot of the leadershipcharacteristics that I have today with competing on a high level inthe St. Mary’s men’s basketball program. Today I amworking extensively in real estate investing as well as partneringwith my fiancée in an online interviewing coaching programgeared to prepare college students for their upcoming interviews. Istill keep in touch with all of my friends and classmates from St.Mary’s, whether it be at social events, games, or onFacebook.”
