Athletic Accomplishments:
Basketball: Dale was a four-year memberand team captain of the men’s basketball team.  Hescored over 2,500 points and 1,000 rebounds in his collegiatecareer and was named All-State and All-American by the NationalAssociation of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Player of theMonth in Black Sports Magazine, and Player of the Week inSports Illustrated.  He was also inducted into theschool’s 1,000-Point Club.

Baseball: Dale was a four-yearstarter on the men’s baseball team.

Post-collegiate Accomplishments:
In 1973, Dale was drafted by the NBA Washington CapitolBullets in the 11th round.  He was also drafted by the ABADenver Rockets the same year.
