Athletic Accomplishments:

Duke was one of the driving forces behind thesuccess of St. Mary’s Athletic Department in the early’70’s. A founding member of the men’s lacrosseprogram, Duke was both a player and team captain. He was alsoinstrumental in starting St. Mary’s first swimming and divingteam. He served as team captain and coach for three seasons; 1971,1972, and 1973. Duke was a key member of the canoe and kayak teams.He was also involved in intramural athletics. Duke was listed inAmerica’s Who’s Who for Best Athlete of theYear.

Duke is a long time recreational league lacrosse coach.
