Most Memorable Sports Experience at St.Mary’s:
"I have to say that my most memorable sports moment was oursophomore year winning the conference championship against MaryWashington. We were up by 1 goal and there was less than a minuteleft. Mary Washington’s best player had the ball and ourdefender got beat. Mia (Mia Oliver Woods’04) being Mia fouled her so that their player wouldget an 8 meter shot rather than have a 1 on 1 on the crease withless than 10 seconds. The girl blew me a kiss before the whistleblew for her to begin play—how obnoxious can you get?!? I wasso fired up that I knew I was going to make the save in order tomake this girl regret her cockiness. When the ball was in my stick,I loved letting the seconds tick by to end the game and we came outas Conference Champions—and that girl probably regrettedthinking she was better than St. Mary’s College."
Most Missed about Playing for St.Mary’s:
"I miss playing on a field with people cheering for you from thecomfort of the couches they had dragged onto the track. J Butmost of all, I simply miss playing with the most amazing bunch ofyoung women. We were a family on and off the field. It was alwayseasy to play harder knowing your teammates were there for you."
Words of Advice for Today’s SeahawkAthlete:
"Academics are your primary concern—we all know that thereis not professional lacrosse. My advice is to have a “partnerin crime” for your classes. It made it easy to stay on top ofassignments when you had someone to be your study partner and to beyour friend in classes that was also a teammate. Fortunately forme, my study partner Stacy Mann ’04 was themost organized human being ever and she kept us on track for everyassignment. I think she is where my love of color coding firstbegan."
Since St. Mary’s:
At the time of her induction, Jennifer was a gifted and talentedresource teacher for Harford County Public Schools, workingprimarily with gifted learners in grades 3-5 and collaborating withtheir classroom teachers.

Other Thoughts/Memories:
"St. Mary’s College was an amazing experience. It’shard to pick out a few memories, but I will alwayscherish…Bike Gang, our “great” Spring Break inVirginia Beach, our actually amazing Spring Break in Colorado, theundefeated season, Kate (Kate Story-Sirc’04) Story’s warm-up mix that lived in our CDplayers, stomping on the snow to make it melt so we could playoutside, playing that last game together and walking off the fieldholding hands. However, the one I will cherish most of all was thefirst one. I will never forget the first visit I ever made to theschool. You come around that bend on Route 5 and the scene justopens up to water. You know that you are home."
